Terms of Service

Plain terms for a simple service. By using cloudyload, you agree to what's below.

Last updated: March 2025

What cloudyload is

cloudyload is a temporary file-sharing service. You upload a file, we give you a link and a QR code, and the file is deleted when the expiry you chose is reached — at most 7 days. There are no accounts and no long-term storage.

Acceptable use

Use cloudyload for files you have the right to share. Please don't use it to store or distribute anything illegal, malicious, or harmful — including malware, content that infringes someone else's copyright, or material that's unlawful to possess or share where you are. Don't try to overload, probe, or break the service, and don't use it to abuse or harm others.

We may remove content or block access that breaks these rules or that we're legally required to act on. Because we don't run accounts, this is handled per-link rather than per-user.

Your content

Your files are yours. We don't claim any ownership of what you upload. We only handle your files to the extent needed to store them temporarily and deliver them to whoever you share the link with, after which they're deleted on schedule.

Availability

We aim to keep cloudyload running smoothly, but it's provided “as is,” without guarantees of uptime or that a given link will always be reachable. Don't rely on cloudyload as your only copy of an important file — keep your own original.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, cloudyload isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost files, arising from your use of the service. Since the service is free and intentionally minimal, please treat it accordingly.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If we do, we'll revise this page and update the date above. Continuing to use cloudyload after a change means you accept the updated terms.
